Was out on North River Rd and Anchor Bay has open water as of 2/29. Even saw someone in a 18' open bow out there on the water. According to ice fishermen, it is open water in anchor bay and fromthe beach at the end of south river rd clear over to Strawberry Island. I wasnt able to get out that way sunday, so I cant confirm what we were told, but hopefully Spring is here.

river is clear to the lake it looked clear out there as well. we went to the end of the river and turned around. frank from mi marine salvage said they pulled out a truck yesterday from over by metro. what a dumb a$$.

I is "they" as well as several other peeps that were at The Sand Bar yesterday. Cars and trucks out yesterday 1/2 mile out from the Raft. STUUUUUPId, ice is rotting quickly.

Thats why I choose March 10th for open water behind Tin Fish
