Those are some sweet pics!
well got back from Newport beach at midnight last night we got about 20 crab both rock and dungeness but were only able to keep 1 rock. rock crab they want to get rid of for some reason so you can keep them any size but we only kept the one with good sized claws and thru back the smaller ones.
Fluid Rectangle Wood Seafood Arthropod

the dungeness had to be 5 3/4 inch across the back and we got 2 that were 5 1/2 so close

When I was stationed in Washington my wife and I would go camping and fishing along the Columbia River. Those pictures sure do bring back a lot of memories. It was so beautiful there. We caught some huge over size sturgeon (over 10 feet long) in that river. Sometimes we would catch 5 per day.

I forgot all about red rock and dungenous crab. Did you use a ring crab net, or did you set traps? We used the ring crab nets. My wife called it "idiot proof fishing".
