[INSTIGATOR]

Since my portable was lost to the waves of Lake Huron last weekend, I need help installing a stereo in the jet boat.

It has speakers and an enclosure already installed. The previous owner handed me the stereo that was supposed to go in the enclosure, but the connections are not even close!!

Who is a MASTER STEREO RIGGER to help me install this correctly?

With a little more info a might be able to help you out. A trip to the bar won't do me too much good though. Atleast not for another 6 months.

What kind of head unit (stereo) was in there before, and what kind are you putting in there now? Do you have any instructions with a wiring diagram? are you using a seperate amp? you might need to buy a wiring harness from some place like best buy, or make one yourself.

Hey hammer, I am just curious as to what type of system you have in your boat. Sounds like it is pretty impressive from what everyone is saying. I used to be really into car audio - you can see my first system here http://members.sounddomain.com/redmuff
then I got into home audio, now I need to decide what I am going to put in my boat when I get some $$$$$$ most of the manufactures I like don't make marina qaulity stuff

Impressive. How do the subs sound in the open area What kind of enclosure(s) do you have them in? I am a fan of sealed, but will probably go ported to make up for the openness. I am thinking two 12's, but I am worried they won't be loud enough in such an open area.

I turned my wrap around back seat into a sealed enclosure for the subs. Custom ports and grilles. They rock.
