I used to take everything off, and then put it in my garage, what a pain in the a$$, whats the difference if its cold on the boat or cold in my garage. The humidity over the winter is not a problem, its much worse in the summer with wet feet in the cabin, rain, high humidity. Now I only take the small things or the things that might break if frozen, not much.
I have thought about heated storage, but the cost is prohibitive.
