Havent been there in 10 days. Went for perch last friday and landed only about 15 and worked hard for them.
Fished off Metro, Beacon cove marina and the Yacht club, They shut down before 11:00 am.
Where are the Walleye? Dont say Canada!!!!

Are they getting them there? Where excatly is that? I'm heading out Sunday.
Will you post how you do tomorrow by buoy 27? This is probably one of my last
weekends walleye fishing before I start heading north to Manistee for kings.

BUOY 27 IS ALONG THE CHANNEL NORTH OF THE LIGHT. THEY ARE DOING QUITE WELL OUT THERE. I'LL POST AGAIN TOMORROW. IF YOU MAKE IT OUT, GIVE ME A CALL.

Just a note of warning, I heard someone reported seeing nets being placed southeast of bouys 27 & 28 just over the boarder in Canadian waters. Not sure who would be setting them and have not been able to substantiate it (just heard about it Wed.). Still checking on it. If your out there, keep your eyes open.

I have had no luck in the dumps for walleye this year at all.
I have heard that they are getting them north of the light in canadian water.
PWood, I was told the same thing by a friend at the marina a couple of hours ago, he said that it was our indian friends from north of there who placed the net, it is in canadian water but not on the reservation.
is that legal in canada?
