Man it just hit me that within the next month they will be storing the rental boats for the year at Stoney Creek. I am realizing the summer is slipping away fast. I am also realizing how little I got to fish this summer and the fact that I only fished St. Clair once this year. I hope this post lights a fire under the rest of you to get out and use your boats before you can't anymore.

I usually fish until Thanksgiving, but with the job search, the baby, grouse hunting up north, and a south dakota pheasant hunt planned, I may wrap it early this year - like halloween.

Essox, wow probably some chilly days on the water, but I am sure you get some giants that time of year. I am definately a "fair-weather" fisherman!!
