If you are talking about the St. Clair Flats South Channel Range Lights, when I was researching their history, I only saw that name "twin sisters" used in modern colloquial reference to the lights, as techinically, they are not twins. The front light is substantially shorter than the other because they are range lights and the rear light, when constructed, had a two story keeper's dwelling attached to it. Their appearances were quite different then.
