In the morning, trolling from the SC Light to #29 for walleye and only got 1 keeper perch. Fished for perch around all the other boats around #27 but only dinks. Moved to the middle of the lake and just drifted in the light winds. Picked up a good dozen 10"+ perch (many dinks but non stop action) there about 2 miles out from 400 club and metro point about noon in 17/18 FOW. The small mouth bass kept hitting my minows, caught several that were around 18'' and fat. Are they any good eating?

Not unless you like a relly fishy tasting fish. Bass are probably the worst fish I have ever eaten all my life.

I eat a couple bass a year, smaller ones, they are good eating. Soak your fillets in milk for an hour or 2 and cook as you would your walleye or perch.
