Time

I keep losing time on my PC...is it my battery? or (pinky to the corner of my mouth)something else?

Yeah Gary there is a small battery inside your tower that helps keep the time on time. They last about 3 years from my experience. Be brave, crank that baby open and replace it - it should be relatively easy to do. Looks like a nickel - GOOD LUCK!

ps. You going to make it to the party tomorrow? Hope so - I'll definitely make it a point before I get buzzed to the point of no return to come over and say "Hi!"

I've had those batteries conk out sooner......Have the replacement before hand and you may have to reset your cmos.

When you first turn it on, hit the delete key and it takes you in there....that is your hardware settings....

Oh, yeah...such a geek! Last night I turned on the puter in my family room to listen to cd's through my bose speakers and KABOOM! my power supply blew up and fried! It actually smoked! My daughter is bummed

Thanks I figures it was something as simple as that...but you know computers.

Tomorrows up in the air. i have to measure my buddies house and pick up materials for a lino job.

I feel bad missing CBJ's B-day bash and neglecting you guys! We haven't seen yous in a long time
