I read where it takes 10" of snow to equal 1" of rain. (Considering that 1/2 of that 1" will go to evaporation and another 1/4 of it to ground saturation)
If the lake level is down 10" from where we would like it to be, then we would need, what , about 300 inches of snow to bring the lake level up 10 "?

I don't think it works that way.......

If the water flows from Lk. Huron to Lk. St.Clair, wouldn't we need 300" of snow up north in Canada and Upper L.P. to raise our levels??

Or maybe I'm thinking sideways again.......
