Went down to the Trenton Channel yesterday for a few hours. River temp. was 39.2 degrees in most spots with very few fish marked. Went to the warm water discharge which was 54.6 degrees and just loaded with fish but still could not get a bite. Seen carp rolling all over the water and a couple of nice bass boiling the water chasing the minnows in there but no fish boated nor did I see any other boats catch anything. Still early though and anyways it is always good to be back on the water.

Fished yesterday (Sunday) for about 2 hours and picked up one 6 lber. Didn't see a ton of fish
caught, but the ones I did all had size to them. Elizabeth Park is not open yet. Had to park at a
city ramp just north of Elizabeth Park.

Sorry Canuck should have thrown that bit of info into my report since we got stuck doing the same thing. Good job we weren't able to get anything going when we were there but there is always this weekend.

John,

It ranged from 40-42 surface temp depending on where you were. The fish was caught on a chartruesse
jig tipped with a minnow (no plastic).

Oh by the way...nice carp.
