Trolling Plates

Hey guys,

I am considering outfitting my 20 foot bayliner 135hp Merc I/O with one of these...


How well do they work? How long do they last? I noticed that these automated plates are considerably cheaper than manual raise plates on Cabela's website? Which one would you suggest for my configuration? I want to get into muskie hunting this upcoming season.

Hey beermaster how low will your rig go MPH if your getting it down to about 2 MPH or faster thats slow enough for MUSKY's if that is the full reason for the plate............. good luck bud.

If I am to trust the GPS speed it idles well above 4-5mph...
