middle of july heading up to houghton lake like to do some trolling for pike and trying to catch some walleye but as far as the pike goes i was curious if i would be able to trigger bites with some of the was you muskie guys do. ive said before im really intrested in catching muskie so i know some about them i think its call a wash rod, were the lure is ran behind the boat in the propwash will this work for the pike or do i need more distance between the boat and lure

Pike are not as agressive. Musky have been know to hit props. I'd get it farther from the boat.
