There was so much confusion and misinformation passed around. Between the hospital, home care workers, nurses.

The reason mom was so ill & seemed to be near the end was an infection. She can't fight anything off. The home care had wrong info from the hospital, so thought it was the end for mom. Nurse called the Dr, reported what she beleived to be true. Dr told her to order hospice. No one contacted Mom;s oncologist during all this.

When we took mom to the hospital, all the miss information started coming to light. According to mom s onco , she has 2 to 5 years! That is not counting any infections, colds etc. Those could be fatal. But we are relieved. And confused. How can they mess up that bad? What if we hadn't taken mom to the hospital? I don't even want to think about it.......

In the mean time , I picked up some stupid virus..can't go near mom... or anyone in the family for that matter.

Personally, I think it was all the prayers & love sent from LSCN that made mom better. Thank you everyone.

OOOOOOPS! I was logged on under MrSunbum (go for it Snowbi). Its me that has the virus. His immune system is made of steel. He never gets sick!
But chicken soup sounds soooo yummy. I have been eating cambells...no I didn't read the thread about the tooth! Grosse. I am feeling better. The bug hit Sunday.. thinking its on its way out.
