We need to set it up. I think we are about ready. If all goes as planned, we should be a tthe MCPS meeting at Mac 'n Rays on tuesday night. Will you be there?

I was thinking about 9:30 - 10:00.
I would like to be out on my boat by 11:00 - 11:30.

There is going to be a big push for VSC's on June 6 down on the Nautical Mile. The Sheriff, Coast Guard Aux and Power Squadron will be teaming up and are going to hit every marina along the Nautical Mile.

If you want a VSC that weekend just be at your boat and someone will find you or you can contact me and I'll put you in touch with an inspector so you can make an apt. and not sit around waiting all day.

IS there anyting going on special at Metro sunday morning, or is it just a meeting place to kick off the day? We may be able to make it there as well by 10am.

Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly do we need to pass inspection? I know the major stuff, flares, fire ex, life jackets, etc.. It would be good, before I asked you to visited my boat if there was a list of what I needed, just to make sure that I do indeed pass. Got one? thx.

Take a look at the page from the United States Power Squadrons web site on Visual Safety Inspections (VSC's) and all your questions should be answered. It's a great service and it's free. Definately worth getting.

NoCode, Gregg, thanks for setting me with the VSC with Woody. He came over , did a good job and gave me a bunch of booklets which will enlightening me about navagation on the lake.. Everything looked good to Woody and the sticker when on the port side of the boat where the sherriff and coast guard can see that I was inspected and passed. Thanks for doing this for us..
