Besides the river, where are the eyes at? I am planning on going bright and early tomorrow, and don't want to get skunked. I will be drifting and probably bottom bouncing with a crawler harness, unless anyone has any other suggestions.

Is infront of metro still good? if so, what techniques, colors etc?

Thanks in advance

I picked up 4 walleye this morning near the Gino’s in about 10-11 FOW. I was trolling (which was hard to do this morning in the wind) about 1.3 mph and did best with hammered brass harness. I was just using a ¼ oz bullet with about a 3-foot leader. I did head down toward the 400 Towr and caught 1 more in 8 FOW after the drizzle stopped but I could not get that 6th fish today. Most folks I talked to caught a few today but the water is still fairly turbid and that is a fair amount of debris in the lake still.

Well... I put in at Selfridge and fished between there and Metro Beach.

I tried what you are proposing all day yesterday and caught 12 smallmouths and zippo for walleye!
. Bottom bouncers with Gulp worms, drift fishing. Man...
I couldn't keep those smallies off my bait! How does one target just walleyes. (I thought that's what I was doing)
