The river is still cloudy and cold, but clearing. Been out pretty much every day. Saturday caught 7 by Mudd Island. Only caught 5 on Sunday. Kinda sucks, but I'm sure these warm days will flip the switch, because they are in the river, but seem to enjoy just slapping at the bait. Every year, when we get a several warm days in a row (like last year's 80 degree day on April 16th) they start eating good. Heard of fish being caught on the North side of Peche Island as well. Try 3/8 -1/2 oz Walleye Stopper jigs with straight tail worm trailer. Good Luck! DRP.....www.lakestclairfishing.com
