Is anyone catching any walleye in the lake yet? Where would be the best bet to catch some good walleye or just any walleye, i've been out a few times but i have had no luck, what would be the best lure to use and what would be the best way to present it (what color crawler harness?) thanks!!!! it is much appreciated

With the water the way it is, Firetiger colors are the ticket right now. Start at the Clinton River Cutoff and troll south in 9-11 fow. If you see a color change follow it zigging in and out of the darker water.

I have caught limits of walleyes over the last 3 days. 10-12 fow trolling very slow south of the Clinton River Spillway. I see that someone mentioned firetiger and although I have pulled one every day I have yet to catch a walleye on firetiger. Gold or brass has worked the best for me. I have tried to work the mudline and that is where I have found most of the fish. Biggest one I have caught so far has been 25 inches just over 6 pounds. I have used Berkley Gulp worms but have determined that they are far too expensive although they work well. I think that continue to use natural crawlers that I dig up in my garden.
