Heading out Friday evening or Saturday morning, any good reports from the
Dumping Grounds? My partner took a one man limit last Saturday on harnesses
and bottom bouncers.

h20 or Czar,

Is it worth the trip to Erie? You fishing in front of Fermi still?

Oh it's real hot there, put in at Sterling and go north fish 18-22 feet, directly east of Fermi, Don't go to close to the power plant as there's bouy's warning to stay away, that won't be a problem.

Use the hot+tots in metalic colors or any tot should work. I say use 4lb test fireline, the tots really go deep. Doing that tot's should be down 18ft. @ 1.8-2.2 mph. Let out 100 feet if your not getting bit, let out 25 more. You'll limit out in no time. You really can't miss the spot as boats are all over out there in what i call a fishing vortex.

h2o<---do erie you'll be impressed, watch the weather.

Thanks h20!

I don't own the boat, so not sure if my partner will want to make the trek down or
not. Have you heard anything about the Dumping Grounds?

Some have posted here on the dumps, but the dumps are always good. So much structure there is what makes it good. I often wonder when i'm snaged there what's on the other end, a spring mattress, washing machine, car parts, ect. lol who knows what they use to dump there from detroit. Sure glad thats done. I think they stopped doing it in the 30's.

h2o<--says if the days nice bribe the guy with the boat to hit fermi.
