Hello fellow fishermen and women. I am having a fish fry in a few weeks and I have had a few fish fries b4 and always deep fry the fish and I am looking for any good recipes for different ways to cook the fish. (walleye, perch) Any recipes will help me deside how to make my family love the fish even more.

Thanks

If you scroll down in this forum you should get a few good ideas. My favorite way to have walleye is to dip the fillets in melted butter and then use a bbq dry rub or blackening seasoning to coat and place in a fish basket. Fire up the charcoal grill and soak some mesquite wood chips in water for a half hour. Drain the water and place chips on charcoal and cook the fish with the lid shut for a few minutes on each side until done. Perch I like to take italian flavored bread crumbs and mix it 50/50 with crushed cheez its. Mix up 3 parts egg to 1 part milk and dip fillets in this before coating with the bread crumb mixture. Fry in oil.
