Going out after work Friday. Was thinking about hitting the Middle Channel. Sounds like this is a decent place right now. When back trolling the channel with crawler harnesses (per Cory's fishing report), should I use bottom bouncers or another method? Also, any particular area of the MIddle Channel hitting better than others? My hot spots map says the stretch of channel just before it joins up with the north channel is a good spot.
Thanks !

A hot spot would be on the east side as it flows into the lake 3/4 of a mile along that side. There's a boat club right there. Alot of boats are docked there you can't miss it.

h2o<--says report back how you do.

bripow,
I may have misunderstood Cory's report, but I think he meant people were only backtrolling in the North Channel. I thought this was to try and stay vertical. In the middle they were trolling normal as they are by metro. I believe everything in the Middle Channel is the same as metro, except the depth. Just thought I'd mention it. Hate to see you doing the wrong thing and wasting time. Good luck when you go.
