Walleye are in at Trenton by the free bridge seen lots of fish caught slow but there still hitting, my son caught one weighing 13.50 lbs had a lamprey hanging off the side Pictures can be seen. Reports of some Salmon being caught also by long liners. I caught some Perch and Crappie by the bridges in the cannels in Gibraltar did not see any ice anywhere on the river.

13 pounds...nice fish! What is the traffic like by the free bridge? Also, how were you fishing? Jigging? Long Lining? Hand line? Thanks!

The boat traffic wasn't to bad there was about 40 boats no one was running into each other. I was jigging most people were using chartreuse jigs tipped with minnow fishing straight down 4 to 6 foot of water, more fish were caught jigging then with the hand line. I ran to Canada to pick licenses for the year at Duffs Marina $59.50 Can. $ 43.50 US
