Interesting article in this week's Voice newspaper (St. Clair county) about water levels - according to the Corps, the heavy rains will have little long term effect and the summer forecast is still the same (6 - 8" higher than last year). At Harsens Island the water is down about 3" from the peak last week but still higher than before the storm. At least it is clearing. We can see the bottom off our seawall for the first time in 10 days.

It's going down much slower than it came up, and for what it's worth I think we will end up higher than they predicted. It should come up an inch a week this time of year anyway. Will be interesting to see when it levels off and starts going up again.
