With the raft only a week away nocode and I are trying to get 12 dinghies to help us with registration forms and organization and such. We have quite a few from Sand Pointe but need some from LSCN. Who has a dinghy that can help up for a bit during the day?

Mr. Big?
Zesty?
Hazy?
Pandora?

We will also need peeps to go in our boats to help hand out forms and pens and get filled out forms back.

Please reply here or PM me. Thanks.

All helping peeps with boats will get a couple freebies and two cool bright orange RAFT SUPPORT signs to hang on their boat.

Hammer, our outboard is out of commision so our inflatable (I refuse to call it a dinghy for fear of Snowmaker B.S.) is out. However my sister has a new one and she MAY be interested in going to the Raft anyway. Since our yacht
is out of commision also, and with no other way there perhaps I should go with her on the "inflatable".

What do you need from me at this point? I can't commit for at least a few days.

Ya know.... my first thought when I read the title was that Snowbi would have fun with this one.

Sorry Hammer, I don't have an "Zodiac type craft". I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be on my own boat!

I have several PWC's. I can have two of my buddies bring them out, I'll drive the boat and once we get tied up, we can help out. Would this work?

I would if I knew what I could possibly do. I don't even know if I'll be out there or not yet.

OK, I'm in on helping with anything that i can contribute to.
I'm good at making sure the bumpers are in place as peeps tie up and good at getting people to get forms filled out fast!

Just a suggestion, if it's acceptable, it might be a good idea to post what info people need to have ready to fill out the forms! I dont know what they consist of and maybe it's posted somewhere else that i didn't see.
If everyone is prepared to be efficient, we should be able to pull this off and then PARTY OUR ARSES OFF!!! dern pg site, i cant say what i want to but we all know how much fun is out there!

I'll collect all the waterproofed bags i have, maybe 3. but others need to have something to hold the pp work in too.
Let me know if you want my help

What's wrong with the boat? If you need a hand with something I'd be more than happy to stop by sometime this week and help. Or if you need a ride I've got more than enough room on the new boat. just let me know if you need something

Well over the weekend I recruited 8 dinghy's for sure, with a bunch of peeps that will ride along and help. Thank God for Sand Pointers...... None from LSCN yet <_<

Zesty, it would be cool if you could help drive around the bay and hand out forms and get filled out ones. We will have them all printed up and My Three Sons has offered to donate 1000 pens for the raft.

We have bright orange signs to zip tie to the dinghy's for everyone to see. Let me know.

we've also got American Flag wrist bands with Lake St. Clair Raft 2004 printed up to pass out to the people who register and are asking to put the band on the port rear side somewhere on the boat so we know you are registered, they are somewhat waterproof so it doesn't matter if they get wet

i will give the wristbands to the people in the dingys to hand out, just be sure to tell them NOT on their wrist and everyone in the boat doesnt get one, ONE per registered boat and loop it somewhere on the PORT REAR side so we can easily tell if you have registered

that way we can have some volunteers walking the line up and signing up people so there is no bottleneck in the rafting process

they will easily be able to tell who they need to get registered
