Went out about 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. Started along the shipping channel around bouy 31. Some small perch. Tried between buoys 30-32. Nothing. Went back by buoy 29. Drifted from 15-16 ft to about 25 ft. North wind helped us drift along the channel for a while before entering it. Managed to grab 5 walleyes, 4 of them about 20-21" and very meaty. Also grabbed a few more small perch and a sheephead. Used crawler harnesses w/bottom bouncers. Red/white on one rod and green/yellow on the other. Not a lot of fish, but definitely some nice ones. Water was beautiful til about 5:00 when the wind picked up. The fish quit biting & the wind was wicked. But a fun day on the pond

Good deal , we were out earlier in the morning drifting the same general area near buoy 28. Managed 4 eyes and a number of small perch using gold/red and orange/chartruse harnesses. Saw a few others catch too. The wind was more ENE so we drifted away from the channel. Also tried over by the weather buoy, no eye or perch but did get 3 SM's on white.
