I'm trying to figure out what I want to do for my birthday. Can't really afford to have a birthday party so I'm trying to come up with a good alternitive. I think I have some idea's but I want to know what others have done.

8 girlfriends and I went to Chicago for a weekend!
I got drunk and walked around naked in my friends kitchen.

I don't remember that being your 30th birthday... I thought you were at my house just for the hell of it.
I stood up in a wedding and got to double party like a rock star

I had about 20 of my friends and family w/ me to celebrate at the Hay Loft. (used to be my favorite place)
I drank ALOT and was invited on stage to sing w/ the band-
I did ONLY because I was very drunk.

We sang some Tracy Chapman song ( I don;t remember the name) that they changed the words to say " It's Lisa's 30th birthday..... and we came here to get down."

it was the best birthday EVER!

I honestly don't remember. So either I had a hell of a good time or I'm loosing my memory at 40.

2001, hmmmm. I think I had dinner at Andiamo's waterfront bistro with a host of friends. One of which was Irma Lindt, a friend of mine from Germany who shares the same birthday.
i was miserable my whole 30th... my boyfirend at the time was leaving for Thailand and Australia the next day for 6 months ...

JD's key club is always a fun birthday thing to do...
my 30th was my favorite bday of all time!

the friday before my birthday my friends and i rented the fraser VFW and threw a 'black ball,' where everyone wore black (except me) and it was like a wedding reception w/o the bride and groom... family was there, a dj, catered, open bar... awesome time!

and if that wasn't enough, ON my birthday, wild woodys threw a combo bday party for me, doug podell, & frank sgroi. i can't even begin to explain how amazingly, once in a lifetime fantastic that party was. just speechlessly amazing.

hell! embrace 30! it rocks!
I 'pretended' to ignore it & nothing was mentioned. I 'expected' my wife (at the time) was going to be throwing me a surprise party because nothing about my birthday was ever mentioned. I waited . . . the birthday came . . . & went. The tension built . . . another week went by . . . Finally I asked: "did you forget about my 30th?" She said: "OH! I thought you said that you wanted to skip this birthday?"

Spent 1 year being really pissed off, then threw my OWN 31st Bday party the next year. Had a great time at MacRay's (when it USED to be a nightclub), then spent the night at the Hackel Hilton. <_<

My wife got a babysitter for the afternoon/evening.
Had a suprise date. Got a massage, went to dinner, went to the casino...had no luck, went down to the boat, and my luck improved substantially...
Ask me this question after September 3rd and I'll tell ya. I have a feeling it will involve boating in the bay, drinking 1 or 2 beers, and maybe a few shots with some of the best friends that one could ask for.

I was completely dreading 30. Thought I'd lose some of my party girl edge - but obviously I didn't!
My bday was just this May.
Wetbar - the awesome hubby that he is - and my best friend's husband threw me and my best friend a dual 30th surprise party in April! Our bday's are only a few days a part so our 30th bdays ended up being awesome! I had NO clue what so ever. Dave rented the Channel Marker on Jefferson in SCS. Highly recommend that place. Everyone loved it. There was a DJ, food, lots of beverages - it was a totally awesome night packed with about 80 close friends.

So this year I'll just re-celebrate my 30th bday w/all you awesome LSCN peeps and I'll just turn 31 next year! I wish!
So needless to say - after the awesome party I was thrilled to be 30!
OMG! That was one of my favorite b-days, 30 years old! Totally spontaneous!

Jewel's, Big Tree, Robynator, Instigator, Blondestreak, and some non-LSCN member such as A-ron, Doodles, and Marty (to name a few) went down to Beach Grille, danced the night away, we all ended up putting the cotton napkins on our heads as do-rags at the end of the night, just dancing our arses off, owner came over and told us all to take them all...it was so hilerious!!!
ummmm I dont remember it was 12 years ago headbanger girl was 6 months pregnant with my son.............Oh yea we went away for a weekend thats it boy time flys I remember my 40th big party at marks place
also known as the white rabbit saloon
