not big into organized religion (DONT TELL MOM TOP GUN!!) just dont see the point in participating in a groups set of rules. i dont think god or jesus have such an ego that you have to gather at a certain time each week with other people and practice it within a set of guidelines. my wife and her brother were never baptised, never stepped foot in a church, and they are a couple of the nicest people i know. i'd rather just try and be as nice a person i can and let the judging (if any) happen naturally at the end.

I believe in the soul, the [email protected]#k, the [email protected]$$y, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, long foreplay, show tunes, and that the novels of Thomas Pynchon are self-indulgent, overrated crap.

I believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, I believe that there oughtta be a constitutional amendment outlawing astro-turf and the designated hitter, I believe in the "sweet spot", voting every election, soft core pornography, chocolate chip cookies, opening your presents on Christmas morning rather than Christmas eve, and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last for 7 days.

wow mini!!

**blushing**

I believe that everything in life happens to you for a reason specific to you only... we are our own learning curve. I believe that we get out of life what we put into it, and if you give little to nothing, expect nothing in return...

... somehow need to add not to expect anything generally... no expectations are good... but then, you have to strive for things in life because you want to ACHIEVE those expectations.

I believe that there is always hope... and that is a fairly new concept to me!

Life is good!

I cant take credit for that. It was said in a movie called Bull Durham by Crash Davis (played by Kevin Costner).

A great movie and an even better baseball movie. Kinda like anythinng you ever needed to know about life you learned in kidnergarten....well the same can be said about this movie.

I liked mini's response
so I will add some more of my miscellaneous ramblings along the same lines:
I believe in learning - there is so much left to explore but many people choose to ignore it, I believe in the power of love but I don't believe in fate, I believe in liking everyone first - everyone is trying to do their best in this life, I believe in enjoying every moment of my life and being happy right now

I also believe in that place between a mans shoulder and neck, children, friends, chocolate ice cream, hugs, awe of everything in this amaazing world...

After viewing the cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris last week, it only confirms what I believe - that yes there is a God - for people to have that kind of belief to build such a magnificent place in honor of God/Jesus it has to be real!!

However, I also believe in karma and what goes around comes around and sooner or later you will pay for what you do.

AND - even if it was all hogwash, the ten commandments are still good rules to TRY to live by!!!!

I believe Michigan is full of conservative, bible thumping a$$holes that should find something better to do with their lives than combat the evils of drugs, alcohol, public nudity, and everything else that makes life worth living.
