just doing a poll on what your favorite lures and colors are and what species you use them on. and why do you like it so much.

mine is a rattle trap in the white and red i use it to catch bass, walleye, pike and muskie. the reason i like it so much is because when my other lures dont produce. the rattle trap will.

The Mepps AGLIA in a assortment of size's,and colors, rainbow being the first choice, because it's the world's # 1 lure. The vibration it give's off makes fish go nuts tied direct. A very close 2nd would have to be a 1/8 oz. plain ball head jig married with a Pearl and White Berkley 3in Power Grub, Tournament strenght Power Grubs tied direct worked to make it seem alive. The smell is irresistable, and has proven itself since it came out. Of course with 4lb. fireline. Oh no Bob's going to lace me now. lol

I would have to say a helin flatfish x4 size glow in the dark with black spots. Doesn't seem to matter what species since I have caught almost every species except for a musky on it. Excellent lure when I need to keep the skunk out of the boat.

I am fairly new to fishing Lake St. Clair, just within the last couple of years, but I would have to say its tough to beat a green or brown tube out there for not only smallies but it catches largies, walleye, pike, musky, rock bass, etc.

I dont have just one favorite. I use different things. But my top two would have to be a 5 inch Yamamoto Senko in Watermelon/Black/Gold...I havent been skunked with it yet. I also like my Terminators and my favorite color is Chartruese and White. I also have an old dicontinued Rapala that works well. Its a Shallow Fat Rap...in gold black back. Only have one though.

It would have to be a Rattle Trap as well. The bigger the better as long as it has some chrome on it. Next would be a #5 gold and black Fat Rap. Just can't fish them as fast.

Favorite lure is whatever's working. I let the fish be the judge. When it's plain slow I'll go first to crankbaits (R'Traps mostly) second to spoons and third to Mepps spinners. I'll go plastic for fun when I've located numbers.

But I'd rather catch fish on a fly rod with flies than anything else.
