Camaro American made??? NOPE.

I am so sick of this damn argument.
Who cares where the "parts" came from, when people hear Camaro, they think AMERICAN and they should and there is nothing wrong with it. Can you find something else to push down everyone's throat because this one has been beat to death and people are tired of hearing it.

I agree with you Soo Sassy.. Who really cares anymore.. I know I don't.. I buy what I can afford and if comes with forien made parts so what. In fact if anyone can name one new car out there that has 100% american made parts in it let me know.. I don't think there is one, but I could be wrong. LOL

You are missing the point. People can, and should buy what they want. If what you want and can afford is foreign - fine by me. Hell - I would love a Camaro!!!!!

Just dont call a foreign car American.

It doesn't matter what the name on it says? Wow...

I get it Dave, I work for GM...remember??? Just because people like to consider it an American vehicle, doesn't mean they are clueless or stupid.
I know where it was designed and where it's been built, I still consider it an American vehicle. It's the way of the world today, you don't need to constantly remind people.

I never called, or even so much as inferred, anyone was clueless or stupid.

If you want to consider it American, hey I am fine with that.

I just think people should know the car they believe is American is not. Nothing wrong with that is there??? I do not see how a car not built in America can be called an American built car - doesnt make sense to me.

I am not discouraging anyone from getting one. Just letting them know what it is.

"People like you" to me means I'm clueless.

And I never said it was American built. It's badged by an American company, therefore to me, it's American. I don't care where it was outsourced to be built or designed, GM is an American company and we pay the bills.
