I'm thinking of trying some Muskie fishing this weekend and since this is my first ever attempt at Muskies I don't really know where to go. Can anyone recommend where I should head? I will be fishing off my 28ft cabin cruiser with 2 feet of draft so I need to watch the shallow spots.

You'll be fine anywhere you feel like fishing.
Gino's down to 9 Mile is good.
Anchor Bay is good.
Mouth of the North and Middle channels is good.

Take your pick. It's a big lake

If your trolling I can't help you not my thing if your casting find the grass on or near flats or channel edges and cast with bucktails or topwater. I just started musky fishing last season and still learning the ropes but I hope this helps.
