do you have a truck

best bet is to go get it and have it loaded 2 yards isn't much cost more to deliver

what area are you in
Just don't overload your truck even though you might be able to fit it, couple yards is 4000 pounds easy.

Oh and Phoenix Stone 866-mystone. Its on 1 blk east of groesbeck and church. They delievered my rocks for free a few years ago, but that was also a few yards.
i live in Mt. CLemens...

i want it delivered...easier for me

We just recently had some landscape material delivered from Phoenix Stone. Their prices are very competitive. If I remember correctly, topsoil was about $20.00 per yard. Delivery fee is approx. $50.00 minimum.

You may be better off buying bagged dirt for that kind of delivery fee on 2 yards and still have the 'easier' factor.

If your soil has a lot of clay in it, add sand and peat along with topsoil, and mix well. It will help break up the clay for better drainage.
your neighbors have lots its cheap, close, and it just sits there all day do 'em a favor take some a shovel at a time.
oooh plus it already has grass on top!

Uni-Dig on Quinn Rd. near Gratiot charges $15.00 a yard plus $65.00 delivery. If you buy more than 6 yards, it's less per yard but delivery is the same.

since i only need a few yards...we're going to go the bag route...cheaper

at $1.18 for a 40lb. bag...i'll just load up the truck with a bunch of bags.

a lot less of a mess
Try Ken Baker trucking. 43291 North ave. 463 8440. go look at the dirt before they deliver, make sure it's up to your specs. Have Big Tim deliver it.
