i got the kicker motor and a trans mount that lifts up and down my sonar is on the starboard side of the trans can i still mount the kicker there without any problems

You may end up with erratic operation that close to the kicker when trolling. I put mine on opp sides.

thats what i thought would happen i am going to have to move the sonar as my ladder is on the other side thanx for the help and info

I would try it befor you move it, mine is pretty close to my 50 and have not had any problems since I rerouted the wire away from all the other wires and control cables, my ducer is no more than 10 inches to the side, where the edge of my pad is. And before you mount the mount make sure it is high enough when in the down position, it is very easy to mount it to low, good luck.
