I am looking to purchase some home made ice fishing rods.
I like to do alot of jigging with either jigging Rapala's or spoons. I do not want to by them at a store, would like to cut out the middle man. I know some people on this board have to know a few of these folks that are craftsmen.

Bob Brunner, got any ideas on this one?

Joe,....Do you have any broken rods?? Broken half way down the blank?? I made a couple ice rods a few years ago by taking a dowel rod,....cutting it to 10"....drilled a hole in one end big enough to slide the broken rod into,..then epoxied it in securely.....then I taped a small spinning reel on it (tennessee style) ....works great dude!!

All you need is 18-24" of a broken rod
....Bcstrs or Spnng.....EASY to make!!

There is a member of the Mt. Clemens Eagles on S. River Rd. that makes hand made rods. If you want I'll run by there and get his name & mumber.
PM me please.
