I hope everyone is safe after the wind this past weekend and the forecasts for the first part of this week.

Thinking about going to Metro and fishing the canals....

I can tell you St Clair had 3-5 ft rollers on it. The water was coming up over my very hight sea wall and my deck was wet. I have not seen it like that since i have lived here on the Bay. The wind just never stopped.

After the two days of wind blowing our way, the water at my seawall was up a foot! Of course, that all came from the other end of the lake and won't last.

It was really wild at Schmid's marina, where we winter store right on the bay - our stern is 100 feet from the water with nothing between us and the lake. Luckily, I got the boat uncovered on the 3rd and just had to work inside, putting the engines back together, this weekend. But just walking between the boats was a struggle - it was a wind tunnel in there and I don't think I'm very aerodynamically efficient!
