SYNOPSIS
HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.30 INCHES OVER THE OHIO VALLEY WILL
DRIFT EAST TODAY. THIS WILL ALLOW A STRONG LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM...29.40 INCHES...TO DROP SOUTH FROM ONTARIO AND INTO THE
NORTHERN GREAT LAKES TODAY. STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL OCCUR OVER
THE GREAT LAKES AHEAD OF THIS LOW...AND THE ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT
WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES THROUGH TONIGHT. NORTHWEST WINDS
WILL USHER IN MORE COLD AIR BEHIND THE FRONT FOR SATURDAY AND
SUNDAY. A LARGE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM...30.30 INCHES...WILL DROP
SOUTH OUT OF CENTRAL CANADA ON SUNDAY AND THEN BUILD INTO THE
WESTERN AND CENTRAL GREAT LAKES SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY.

DEVELOPING AFTER 4 PM. WAVES NEAR 3 FEET.

KNOTS. MOSTLY CLOUDY. SHOWERS DURING THE EVENING...THEN A CHANCE OF

Lets hope it lays down a bit before morning. Although Waterlogg is the captian and makes the final call. After the ride home from PIB across Erie for X-mass in July. 3 footers on St Clair doesn't even scare me. A 30ft boat can handle that no problem. Look at it this way....they might not run out of docks by 2 in the afternoon this way.

The thing that would keep us from going by boat is if they were calling for rain all day, so for now we're still planning to boat over.

looks like it is going to be a fun ride across the lake... nothing like coming home from put in bay this year after x-mas in july. that was just plain rough.

unless its down pouring still going by boat but think will dock at sunset marina and catch shuttle, bus to browns . as cold as it will be at night like to have elec for heat.
