That would be Dave Blaz boat. He gets it out and about from time to time. Send him a PM he will be able to tell you about it more. His name on here is Steel Beach.
Dave has become quite an avid fisherman. Its not uncommon to see the landing craft dragging lines these days. I wonder if you can powerload a landing craft?
The Clinton River is rich in history, during WW2 the place where McMachen Marine is located now (both sides of the river) used to be a manufacturing site for plywood PT boats. They were constructed, tested on the river and LSC then shipped out by truck and rail car to the fleet in the Pacific.

We were the arsenal of defense in more ways than just tanks and air planes.
There's an upcoming reenactment of one of the WWII battles on the shores of Memorial Park at the end of the month. I know that Dave will be participating with the landing craft. I don't know the details but you can call him at 907-1207 if you're interested.

(I'd wonder about fishing in the channel too, but let's not go there!
)

Dave's boat can haul quite a bit of cement and fencing too!
