39" on a 10" jointed Believer off Brunner Is.

The stink is off! Not huge, and it only took me 366 days to get a friggin LSC muskie in the boat, but it's done. This lake was a curse. Never had an issue with muskie elsewhere but here.

Thanks. Funny thing is, I caught it on a Believer jerked, and she hit on the second turn just as it started to mov and dive. This fish was hot. I wonder what she would've done with a fly. I may have taken the one fish that would hit a fly and caught it on a bait. lol

Don't beat yourself up just because you legally caught that fish, but not with the method that you originally had in mind. Who knows, maybe that fish wouldn't have took the fly? At least this way you got her legally and that should be all that matters.

Thanks. Funny, but I'm still a little shy about my little 39". I love that fish, but wish I could've broken the 40's so I can hang with the big boys. We'll see what happens. My plans for fishing tomorrow night are shot to hell as work is getting in the way. I was stoked to fish tomorrow night, but it'll be Wednesday at the earliest before I get out again.
