It wasn't SIMBA the White Lion...
It was KIMBA the White Lion, and that was my all-time favorite cartoon. It wasn't shown on Saturday mornings but during the week. I remember watching it every day before I was old enough to be in school. Who else remembers this? I loved Boss Rhino and Dannel Baboon!

Soupy Sales at noon. I walked the five houses home every day and ate lunch watching Soupy and his pals Pookie, White Fang, and Black Tooth. Then back at school we all talked about what happened on the show that day.

OK...confession.....I have Abbot & Costello, Blonde, HR Puff N Stuff, Boogaloos on tape. I think it's the family channel or something plays these shows (or used to) on Sunday mornings and I'd set the recorder....

My oldest daughter and her friends think these old shows are cool, but my little Macattack is not into any of them....The only old show she likes is The Munsters.

Maybe I should break out some tapes this Sunday when I'm hangin' like a dog
