Someone here said they lived out that way, but it was a while back. Just curious to see who it was. I was on a sales call this afternoon out there and drove past it again. I ALMOST went in, but I had to get to my appointment. And it's a LOOONG drive back to SCS from there after a couple dirnks.

Next time I'm out there, maybe in a couple weeks. I swear I'm gonna stop in. The place looks so cool, I gotta do it.

Its on the other end of the planet from us. I have a friend who's parents live on one of the adjoining lakes. I was there last year. You take 696 to 275 south and go west on 14 or something. Definitely BFE! Cool place though. Its no Brown's, but still cool.

ttt.
mighta' been me. grew up out that way, my bro lives out there in Hell(farther west even). from the eastsiiiide 696 to 96 to us 23 south. Zukey Lake tavern is pretty much in Pinckney(Lakeland actually) bout 15 min west of US 23 on m-36. North side of the lake, they have dock. Zukey is part of a seven lake chain out there with 900 sqaure ft shacks going for about 250k.

anyways you got a good eye. Great food, good service, good sports bar/ family atomosphere, been around a long time. Love their pizza thick doughy crust with all the toppings chopped small. Also the wet burito is a good meal (all I ever order) big covers a whole one of them 12" oval plates covered with chili and wedge fries. they also own Whitmore Lake tavern same menu. damn its lunch time and I'm an hour away in Plymouth.

Or if your ever in Brighton...
-Champs pub (not part of Champs Americana) voted best burgers in town yum (they could be bigger though), G.River block east of Main St.
-Across the street is the new Irish bar Stout (loud as hell in there) cool menu Irish, english, scottish(i think) quisine, its better than you'd think!
-Lu and Carl's (corner G.river and main) huuuuuuge nacho's plate! hottie wait staff, almost jailbait!

Ever eat at Sweetwater Grill? How's that place?
We live 5 mins from Zukey!!! AWSOME place for food and drink...love the atmosphere too. Worth the time to stop. OMG..the wet burito is HUGE, can feed an army.

Stillwaters is OK..but very expensive!

Thanks guys! I just thought it looked like "my kind of place" from the outside. I wish that area was closer to LSC or even connected, like up in Algonac area or something. All those cool little lakes. The next time I'm out I'm gonna go in for one beer after my appointment. probably in two weeks. ANyone out that way wanna join me? It'll be a Tuesday, probably around 3:30 or 4:00 pm. Let me know.

I'd really like to go out there one evening, take the wife, have their pizza; that sounds great!

yeah not big on the Stillwater Grill (that is what you meant I assume on, g. River next to used car dealer). Not much menu selection for the price but I havent been there in like 4 or 5 years, the Outback is a better Steak, the Lonestar in town has been shut down once or twice for health violations says the rumor I heard.

Brighton bar and Grill on Main st. (couple blocks down from lu and carl's) is decent havent been there in awhile.

there's also some new Eye-talian place I wanted to try called Ciao Amici's across from the mill pond but the wait was and hour tho so we said screw it.
